Philip is a Partner at J. H. Williams & Co., LLC ("JHW") and has over 40 years of experience in public accounting. Philip has extensive experience providing audit, accounting and tax services to clients in the fields of government, construction, nonprofit and retail. Philip serves our Firm as Co-Managing Partner, Quality Control Partner and Information Technology Partner.

Joseph J. "Jody" Gurnari, CPA
Jody is a Partner at J. H. Williams & Co., LLC ("JHW") and has over 35 years of experience in public accounting. Jody has broad experience providing audit, accounting and tax services to clients in the fields of government, manufacturing, transportation and retail. Jody serves our Firm as Co-Managing Partner. His duties also include serving as our leader in providing continuing education to the Firm's professionals.

Theodore "Ted" Ostrowski, CPA
Ted became partner in July 2023 and has over 15 years of experience in public accounting almost all of which with our Firm. Ted has expertise in audit, accounting and tax services. Many of our Firm's clients consult with Ted on software and technology issues.

Effective November 1, 2023, Ray merged his own firm, Zavada & Associates, into J. H. Williams & Co., LLC. Ray has over 40 years experience providing audit, accounting and tax services to clients in the fields of homeowner associations, government, service and retail.

Our History
The original firm, J.H. Williams & Co.,LLC, began in 1977 with general accounting and tax services for businesses and individuals. During the years since 1977, the firm's diversified practice has grown to include both small and large clients for whom we perform audit, tax, consulting, and accounting services. Our footprint covers all of Northeastern and parts of North Central Pennsylvania. In addition, the firm has clients in other states ranging from New York to Florida.
Our Credentials
Our firm participates in the Peer Review program prescribed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Our firm was last reviewed in September 2021. The resulting report stated that the firm's system of quality control for the accounting and auditing practice has been suitably designed and complied with to provide reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards.
We are also registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) to perform audits of publicly traded companies. Our firm's last inspection report by the PCAOB was dated October 2014 and contained no deficiencies.
